Job Description
SABRE TRAVEL SOLUTIONS IS LOOKING FOR A TALENTED SALES OPERATIONS PRINCIPAL.
The Sales Operations Principal is a highly visible role being part of a team that is helping to transform our Sales Organisation. We are looking for self-starter with great interpersonal skills, an inquisitive mind, and the motivation to progress your career.
Role And Responsibilities
- Provides primary support to sales leadership, sales ops management and sales teams in performing the daily, weekly, monthly, and annual processes required to direct, manage, and monitor business performance.
- Coordinates and/or executes standardized sales management processes, including sales planning, budgeting, territory design, quota allocation, pipeline management, sales forecasting, and deal review. Ensures sales management and sales representatives are enabled on standardized sales processes. Acts as a subject matter expert to coach them in the execution of these practices.
- Tracks and reports on sales performance against targets. Performs standard analysis using sales reports and basic ad hoc analysis. Summarizes insight on sales pipeline, sales performance, etc. and makes operational recommendations based upon these insights to Sabre Travel Solutions sales leadership/management.
- Coordinates, manages, and/or executes short-term initiatives in support of sales goals, sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and global consistency.
- Collaborates regionally and globally in developing/enhancing standardized process, reports, and sales programs that facilitate efficient sales operations, effective sales execution, and improved management insight. Assists in the harvesting of successful local improvements for packaging and re-use across the world.
- Plans, coordinates, and/or delivers sales training and other sales enablement program. Leverages packaged training content and customizes to meet region-unique requirements.
- Prepares and/or consolidates sales management presentations, status reports, etc. to communicate financial, sales, and operational performance to Travel Solutions executive leadership, sales leadership, sales teams, and others.
- Takes the Lead in supporting our Sales Automation and productivity initiatives. Drives Sales tool adoption initiatives.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- 3-5 years relevant professional experience in sales operations, sales support and/or operational Support in a business-to-business sales organization. Experience preferred in the travel/GDS industry, a SaaS vendor, or the software industry.
- Global experience is a plus.
- Experience using Salesforce.com; advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills - must-have skills. Proficiency in using Qlikview, Salesforce, Tableau and Einstein Analytics (or other BI Tool) - nice-to-have.
- Strong experience in working with and presenting to all Sales levels (VP/Director/Country Leader and other Sales team members)

- Strong proven ability to influence and enable others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including summarizing information for executive consumption. The ability to tell a story and obtain buy in during presentations is highly regarded.
- Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen displaying the highest ethical standards and impeccable character
- Deep knowledge and experience with best practices for sales operations process and sales effectiveness metrics.
- Proven ability to quickly and consistently execute standardized processes and enable others to do so as well. Successful track record of ensuring process compliance and driving improvements to standardized processes.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities. Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Knowledge of a Sales methodology such as Miller Heiman advantageous
- Excellent ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, including both regional teams and global teams. Ability to forge solid internal and external customer relationships.
- Self-directed with a start-up mentality. Resourceful, innovative, and adaptable. Comfortable in a rapidly evolving environment, and skilled in change management.
