Head of Sales Operations
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this person is responsible for leading all aspects of Operations including customer development/relations, refining existing operational processes to improve speed and efficiency and complete the development and build-out of the currently planned portfolio of products/services. Position is also responsible for developing and standing up new services and business relationships that will increase and round-out our customer services and platform. Person will need to work closely with Product, Marketing, and Credit Operations to maximize asset growth and profitability. Location preference is Atlanta with a Hybrid work arrangement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and lead a nation-wide Customer Relations team in order to support rapid growth and customer satisfaction requirements.
- Develop and implement operational plans to significantly increase efficiency
- In addition to improving the operational flow within the Sales Operation group, work with Engineering and Product to refine and improve the overall process to improve the overall customer experience, improve cycle times while improving overall efficiency.
- Efficiently and effectively manage consumers through the customer journey funnel -- from inquiry to adding multiple assets to their credit line.
- Key contributor and operational lead in the development and launch of Insurance Products (GAP, Road-Side and Extended Warranty). This includes supporting the product lead in the implementation of existing business requirements, working with Marketing on a launch campaign and developing sales operations processes to quickly grow volume.
- Develop and build out business and operational requirements for services that will complete and augment our products and services ecosystem -- access to asset sale through auto auctions, transportation services and others. Identify roadblocks and work through issues together with Product, Legal and Marketing.
Who you are:
- Min 10 years experience in operations with experience in Fintech/Insurtech or retailer/automotive operations (Direct Lender, OEM or Retailer).
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience in a variety of roles.
- Four-year degree with an advanced degree
- Business, finance, economic or engineering degree preferred.
- Track record of success and increasing responsibilities.
- Ability to manage a broad variety of management and business challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to develop and manage large teams.
- Proven ability to work cross functionally and successfully implement major corporate-wide projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop comprehensive business requirement and effectively communicate with product/engineering teams.
- Willing to challenge the status quo.
- Able to take on expanding responsibilities and grow in line with the expected company growth.
