Summary:
As the VP/SVP of Sales, reporting to the CEO, you will grow revenue, develop and sustain relationships with clients and agencies, contribute to the sales team strategies, and maintain sales and business development processes and operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet businesses and sales goals with accountability for month-to-month and quarter-to-quarter forecasting and performance
- Ownership of revenue generating activities, focusing on landing initial customers and positioning Givewith to scale over short-to-medium term
- Review and analyze sales and operational records/reports, using data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets
- Work closely with the Product team to ensure a smooth product feedback to development loop and the Finance team to manage and attract investors
- Provide leadership to a global sales team of account executives, customer success managers and sales operations, motivating and encouraging to ensure quotas are met
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 10 years of global sales experience in helping start-ups scale revenue from pre-revenue to $25M annually
- Background in Salesforce or key app solutions utilized within Salesforce
- Experience in an early-stage environment hiring, motivating and structuring sales teams that scale with the company as more mature products and greater revenue opportunities increase
- Prior knowledge and experience in SaaS sales business models
- Possess a rolodex and analyze current customer base to identify potential sales opportunities
- Experience accurately forecasting short / medium range revenue forecasts and delivering on goals
- Strategic thinker who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills to share key financial drivers with the team and organization
- Proven leadership skills recruiting, developing, and retaining great people
- Position is remote with location preference in CA or NY and potential for occasional travel.
