Job Description
Navitas is seeking a Director of International Sales Operations to lead the strategic execution of international student recruitment, marketing, and admissions initiatives for the Careers & Industry Division. This critical leadership role will drive high-impact growth strategies across global markets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and evolving industry trends.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of International and working closely with the leadership team and partner universities, the Director of International Sales Operations will lead high-performing recruitment teams, manage key agent partnerships, and optimise global market performance. A core focus will be on improving operational efficiencies, enhancing student conversion rates, and ensuring compliance with international education regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute international recruitment, marketing, and admissions strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Lead and optimise sales and conversion initiatives to improve leads-to-enrolment rates.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including university partners, recruitment agents, and industry bodies.
- Oversee operational efficiencies and implement process improvements across international student recruitment and admissions.
- Drive market-specific initiatives, ensuring strategies are aligned with evolving industry trends and institutional goals.
- Lead and mentor recruitment and marketing teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with international education regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in international student recruitment or higher education
- A strong track record of driving growth and managing large-scale sales and marketing teams
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret market trends and inform strategic decisions
- Experience navigating compliance in international student recruitment and admissions
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and develop data-driven business cases
- Intermediate CRM dashboard and StudyLink experience.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment and within complex organisational structures.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Desirable:
- Proficiency in a foreign language
- Experience in the private education sector and knowledge of international education markets
