Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in a Strategy Consulting, Corporate Planning, Chief of Staff, or Sales Operations role.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with executive stakeholders, from ideation to completion.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
- Experience with spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Knowledge of media or advertising.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic, and project management skills.
About the jobThe Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Partner with one or more Global Client teams to develop and evolve core business plan and Go-To-Market strategies.
- Drive operational logistics for the business, including optimizing resource allocation, measuring progress against business goals, facilitating weekly sales management meetings, and creating business updates/reviews. Use internal and external data to derive insights that will drive business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales team efficiencies, and lead efforts to scale best practices across sales teams.
- Coordinate with local operations teams as needed to drive Google-wide initiatives. Support the roll-out and development of related tools and platforms that will improve internal productivity.
- Partner with Sales Finance, People Operations and Product Go-To-Market (GTM) in cross-functional projects, including (but not restricted to) hiring and organizational design and OKRs.
