Director of Revenue Operations - What You’ll Do:
The Director of Revenue Operations will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in commercial revenue operations (marketing, sales, customer operations and insights) at OfficeSpace and will provide ongoing strategic input to senior management. This individual will be an effective problem solver who has demonstrated success in revenue, sales, or marketing operations teams within high-growth technology companies. The ideal candidate is passionate about the tremendous value that data-driven insights can deliver to our business.
While reporting directly to the CRO, you will partner closely with team members in finance, sales, marketing, product, customer experience, and customer success. You will develop a data foundation, define repeatable analytical processes, and generate actionable insights to support key market growth opportunities and drive operational excellence across the company. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain accurate tracking, capturing, and reporting of key customer and prospect data and metrics – this may include identifying gaps in the data and purchasing lists / information, or investing in research programs to create a comprehensive data view
- Leverage data to generate insights that deepen understanding of customers, prospects, and segments by using advanced analytical tools to interpret data, identify trends, and translate analyses into recommendations
- Partner with management and executive team to understand current and future business goals and strategies, and ensure that high-visibility sales / marketing / customer operations reporting, trend identification, and insight generation remain aligned to those objectives
- Build relationships and collaborate with team members, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders to help drive programs forward that improve our understanding of customer and prospect data
- Identify appropriate datasets that support analytics with the understanding and ability to conduct data queries, extraction, and visualizations
- Facilitate business-facing efforts to standardize data reporting, creating a “single source of truth” regarding market opportunity for the OfficeSpace team
- Create presentations, graphs, and dashboards (for management and front line) to display findings, insights, and business recommendations
The Skills, Experience, and Mindset Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a data operations, sales / revenue operations or marketing operations roles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to prepare presentations and present to senior leadership
- In-depth understanding of data warehousing, sales and marketing funnels, business intelligence, and lead management processes and technologies
- Expertise in reporting, programming, and typical commercial technologies will drive success in this role, including:
- Expert level experience with Salesforce CRM
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, with demonstrable ability to do Pivot Tables, VLookups etc.
- Good knowledge and experience in data modeling, statistics / probabilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables with high attention to detail
