Position Overview
CWT is seeking for a
Director- Sales Operations
Responsible for the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the CWT Sales organization through managing support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include ownership of Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) globally for CWT Sales, management and analysis of the sales pipeline, vertical segment analysis, serving as the business connection point for multiple internal and external partners. Sales process optimization, reporting and representing the sales team internally on cross-functional teams. Remove internal obstacles that are barriers to successful sales. Must have experience with a CRM and SaaS selling support a bonus
Position Description - Key Role Tasks:
- Work closely with CWT Sales leadership to identify and execute on key initiatives and identify key areas for improvement
- Implement enabling technologies (CRM plug-ins etc), including evolutions to CRM for the sales force. Work closely with sales management to optimize the effectiveness of the technology investments
- Oversee Lead Generation technology and processes
- Monitor the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
- Support Head of Global Sales in a “Chief of Staff” role as part of Sales Operations
- Create and maintain dashboards and reporting on sales performance metrics, results, forecasting, benchmarking, trends, and perform ad hoc analyses
- Develop performance management programs; align reporting, training, and incentive programs with performance management priorities
- Define business requirements for sales technology; assist with design, selection, implementation and continuous improvement
- Support headcount planning and hiring strategies
- Foster an organization of continuous process improvement
- Manage a team of two business analysts (which may increase in size over time)
- Key Deliverables:
- Support sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. May coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Work closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
- Facilitate an organization of continuous improvement.
- Identify, develop, and deploy sales tools in alignment with Marketing.
- Evaluate industry trends in existing and new markets and translate data into insights for the sales organization.
- Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommend revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Ad-hoc support as required by the Head of Sales
- Motivational leader for direct reports of this role
Qualifications
Position Requirements
Experience & Education - Key Skills & Competencies Required:
- Experience will outweigh any education or certification requirements.
- Degree in Business management/data analysis or similar field
- Ability to influence senior leaders within the enterprise to gain buy-in
- Five years’ experience in sales operations or a similar role
- Working knowledge of the sales lifecycle, SaaS experience an added bonus
- Excellent financial and business acumen. Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, CRM and related software applications.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives and interpretation. Contract negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to set and manage priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project environment and to be self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to collaborate and work well in team environments, especially across functional teams.
