Overview
The Sr. Director of Sales Operations is responsible for coordinating sales forecasting, running regional forecast calls and aiding in annual and quarterly reporting and planning activities. This position proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and global process consistency for our sales leadership teams to aid them in reaching sales quotas and goals. This position reports to the Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Operations, and works in partnership and close alignment with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled. This position is responsible to drive success within the sales organization, enabling global sales process and methodologies to ensure sales results are maximized. This Leadership position supports the execution of LivePerson's overall sales strategy, as defined by the EVP of Sales and SVP of Revenue Strategy and Operations. In addition, this position should offer insight and drive sales process innovation to the broader business, deliver simplification across business processes and assistance in the development and execution of key strategies for sustained growth.
You Will
- Lead forecast calls and builds processes to ensure a fluid and efficient sales organization
- Coordinate and reports pipeline development to 5x in all territories, velocity, and conversion; including reporting on status of leads and leads moving into pipeline, time to action, and fallout
- Aid in fiscal year planning and territory cutting, defining rules of engagement, and standing up repeatable sales processes to ensure accountability and predictable obtainment of sales targets and goals
- Produce and influences sales reporting including bridge/gap analysis, renewal management, bookings performance, waterfall reporting, rep performance to target and forecast, Geo performance, slipped deal analysis, etc.
- Aid in quota setting, and quota attainment with sales leadership
- Optimize and creates repeatable sales processes for sustainable growth
- Partner with Sales Enablement team members to properly train and empower our sales team members
- Influence clean reporting and accountability for compensation administration
- Lead recruiting and selection of sales operation talent to support regional sales leaders, with the need to up-level the talent of the team
- Keep sales leadership ahead of business issues, specific to forecast and quarterly results, and concerns to proactively address versus a reactive approach
You Have
- Analyzed the performance of critical sales processes to identify areas of concern and establish best practices. Suggested and helped implement solutions by working with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable workflows
- Developed and reported key sales metrics to leadership and aids leadership in running their business through adherence to sales best practices
- Worked closely with sales leadership to maximize the effectiveness of their organization through building strong relationships and clear and timely communication
- Aided in the execution of sales enablement in the region and demonstrates quantifiable results that impact sales outcomes
- Coached and mentored sales leaders through the rollout of new operational workflows and systems to ensure successful rollout and adherence to programs
- Coordinated forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the assigned region
- Ensured the highest levels of data quality and adherence to data standards and partnering with data teams to fix issues at the source
- Implemented enabling technologies, including SFDC, People AI, Closeplan, Chorus, Docusign, Sales Navigator, Saleshood, etc. Measures compliance with required standards for maintaining accurate reporting across the sales tech stack
- Worked closely with Finance and Human Resources, provides assistance with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of sales compensation program policies and procedures
- Built peer support and strengthened internal-company relationships with other key management personnel to support the deal flow processes
