Front Office Sports is seeking a dynamic Director, Revenue Operations to oversee, manage, and lead its pricing and planning, account management, and ad ops functions.
This is a new role at an exciting time in the company's life cycle as we continue the transition from a single-brand media company into a multi-platform, IP-led media company that delivers content directly to our audience across all of the major social and digital platforms, as well as our owned and operated channels.
This role requires someone who has a deep and tactical understanding of media planning, account management, ad operations, and overall revenue operations.
This role will report directly to the COO.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, oversee, manage, and/or train teammates on responding to proactive and reactive brand partnership opportunities, including turnkey deck creation, internal and external media plans, and additional client requirements - working cross-functionally with all departments on the business operations team
Oversee and manage account managers with a focus on media strategy and planning, trafficking, campaign optimization, measurement and reporting, account administration, and account retention
Oversee and manage the ad operations team with a focus on inventory, delivery, optimization, performance, and yield management
Lead in developing and refining pricing and packaging strategies that meet client needs and encourage them to scale spending across Front Office Sports' suite of products
Develop and implement continuous training initiatives for the revenue operations team, ensuring the ongoing development of individual team members
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Significant experience working with direct-sold media products such as newsletters, podcasts, events, social media, custom content, and various video formats
A minimum of 8 years of digital media experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
Demonstrated success in a revenue operations leadership function that has contributed to measurable sales growth, process enhancements, quality control, and implementation
Strong communication skills, able to effectively present and gain buy-in from stakeholders across various departments and levels
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to drive appropriate solutions for complex organizational challenges
A keen eye for detail, ensuring data accuracy while maintaining a focus on the bigger picture
Ability to manage ambiguity, adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and make decisive decisions in a dynamic environment
