As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the Director /Managing Director and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company.
The Chief Financial Officer will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial and other related activities of the company.
The CFO will develop the financial well- being of the organization by connecting financial results with operating performance and initiating plans for value enhancement.
Possesses hands-on experience in successfully planning, managing, and executing the IPO process, including regulatory compliance, financial readiness, and investor relations.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic objectives.
Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization Optimize legal entity structure globally to rationalize effective tax rates.
Responsible for creating and implementing transfer pricing polices between legal entities and business units globally Lead the merger and acquisition process, both from the buy and sell side as required, and identify merger synergies and value creation opportunities
Responsible for managing capital requirements including negotiating lines of credit with banks and financial stakeholders Lead the budgeting and financial planning process globally for all lines of service
Responsible for creating polices and guidelines for consistent allocation of expenses to different cost and profit centers
Responsible for financial reporting, both for internal performance analysis and external financial reporting. Prepare, evaluate, improve the Management Information System.
Manage all treasury functions and optimize working capital and cash flow
Create and manage all financial policies to ensure fiscal responsibility within the organization Interface with all levels of the organization to optimize cost, maximize profitability, Capital requirements, Debts etc.
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
Analyse all lines of business and provide recommendations for value creation and profitability enhancement
Analyse financial results and initiate appropriate actions for value maximization.
Prepare annual and rolling budgets and take proactive corrective action by comparing the actual performance vis a vis the budgeted targets.
Develop and manage all financial processes, in line with the business strategy, plans and processes, while ensuring adequate financial controls, discipline, and statutory compliance.
Ensuring that the company’s financial reports comply with existing statutory regulations and laws and carry the effective financial Audits .
Strong knowledge of Initial Public Offering (IPO) process, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial readiness, investor relations, and successful market listing.
Qualifications
Qualified CA or CMA with minimum 10+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in the medium sized construction industry
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in the use of MS-Office and financial management software like Tally ,Buildsmart, SAP.
Excellent Knowledge of Data Analysis and forecast Methods
