We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a dynamic and growing technology-driven company. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a finance executive with a strong accounting background, prior experience as a Controller. The CFO will be responsible for building, implementing, and continuously improving financial processes and procedures, ensuring the company maintains financial health, compliance, and scalability.

Responsibilities


  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement scalable accounting processes and procedures from scratch, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic decision-making and long-term business goals.
  • Manage and optimize NetSuite ERP implementation and enhancements to improve financial reporting and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes, maintaining compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive profitability, cost control, and operational improvements.
  • Develop and refine internal controls, financial policies, and audit procedures to support business scalability.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights to guide company growth and investment decisions.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk management to ensure financial stability and growth.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required); master’s degree in accounting preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with a strong foundation in accounting and prior experience as a Controller.
  • Proven expertise in building and optimizing accounting processes and procedures from the ground up.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP—implementation, customization, and financial process automation.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Ability to be both hands-on and strategic, with a track record of driving financial efficiency and business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership to drive business objectives.
