Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our construction firm will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and strategy of the organization. This role will ensure the financial health of the company through effective financial planning, risk management, and cost control, as well as providing strategic insights to support growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives and goals.
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Manage the financial planning and analysis function to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including those specific to the construction industry.
• Supervise the finance team and provide guidance on financial matters and best practices.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital to optimize the financial position of the company.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies that drive profitability.
• Utilize financial software, including Sage 300, for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles, tools, and regulations.
• Experience with financial strategy development and execution, particularly in the context of general contracting.
• Proficiency in financial software, particularly Sage 300, and advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
