Runwise is looking for a
Senior Director of Sales Operations who is highly experienced at building, managing, and measuring the machine that drives sales. This is a crucial role directly influencing the future of the company and offers a clear path towards a VP level leadership role within the sales org.
Runwise (www.runwise.com) is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls the key energy systems (heating, water, etc.) in 3500+ buildings throughout the US. Runwise's unique hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise's technology takes the equivalent of 50,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year.
Runwise is looking for an experienced Sales Operations leader who will be responsible for developing, iterating, and managing the processes and data that drive sales. Having a hypothesis- and measurement-driven mindset is absolutely critical. This role will involve analyzing the business (from lead to revenue) with an aim towards identifying areas for improvement and growth within our sales organization, which includes an SDR and Account Executive team, as well as channel partnerships.
Experience directly managing a team and driving action across multiple orgs is a big plus.
You will report directly to the CGO & Co-Founder, and also work with the President & Co-Founder and our VP of Data Science closely. Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the cadence for forecasting, pipeline assessment, quarterly business reviews and annual planning for the sales organization.
- Identify and report on sales KPIs to the CGO & Cofounder
- Monitor overall pipeline hygiene and implement corrective actions
- Regularly drive analysis of the business (from lead to revenue) to identify areas for improvement and growth
- Support CGO, Sales Managers, SDRs, and Account Executives in understanding the metrics behind the business and how to optimize growth
- Drive and manage adoption of sales processes and data integrity
- Support deal scoping and contribute to deal strategy in New York City, New England, and surrounding markets
