Sales Operations Director Position Summary
Entrust is looking for a seasoned, results-oriented Sales Operations leader with a proven track record of driving results in a globally distributed business-to-business environment. The mission will be to maximize revenue growth through the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of sales strategies, programs, and initiatives across our Digital Security portfolio. Exceptional leadership, organizational and analytical skills are essential to ensure best-in-class sales operations processes, sales force planning, training, budgeting, reporting, and forecasting/performance metrics. This is a critical role that will interact with many departments and at all levels of the organization including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, and Legal.
Responsibilities
· Designs, implements, and manages sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization. Ensures planning, forecasting, and budgeting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes employed within the company.
· Partners with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement.
· Works closely with senior sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success. Aligns reporting, training, and incentive programs with these performance management priorities.
· Provide leadership in implementing high-impact tools and technologies that improve the productivity and performance of the sales team.
· Drive full utilization and compliance with Salesforce-CRM processes/procedures and act as sales sponsor with IT/IS to ensure sales requirements are being met.
· Ensure alignment and maximize the efficiency of sales territories/regions by optimizing customer/account targeting and sales resourcing
· Accountable for the thorough implementation of sales organization-impacting initiatives.
· Collaborate as a member of a cross-functional team to refine/deploy sales-related marketing campaigns and communications.
· Develop and implement communication vehicles to ensure clear dissemination of strategies to all sales team personnel.
· Collaborate/lead special projects as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Minimum 8 years of sales operations experience, SaaS company highly preferred
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a management leadership role within a sales environment demonstrating effective team building, interpersonal, and leadership skills
· Proven history of transforming decentralized Sales Operations functions into a cohesive center of excellence that helps accelerate revenue growth
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other relevant fields
· Advanced level knowledge of CRM system (SFDC highly preferred)
· Experience working in a global environment
· Business acumen and financial analysis skills
· Ability to work under pressure, and manage priorities while meeting deadlines
· Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
