About this Job
If you’re in this role, you will oversee business development for our orthodontic services across the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts territories. This includes developing and supporting key account managers responsible for in-person new business development, client consultation, client management, and revenue generation.
What you'll be doing
- Create regional sales plans and quotas that align with business objectives
- Provide day-to-day support to Key Account Managers
- Evaluate performance of Key Account Managers and their accounts
- Report on regional sales results
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits
- Identify hiring needs, then select and train new salespeople
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Participate in strategic decisions such as plans for expansion or acquisitions
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
What you'll bring
- Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs and ROI)
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Understanding of Sales and Operations
- Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Availability to travel as needed, up to 75% of the time
- BS degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
