Job Description

As the CFO, you'll play a key role in the financial health and strategic direction of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Oversight: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking deposits, month-end closing, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain best practices for a non-profit organization.
• Payroll Management: Handle bi-weekly payroll for a small team.
• Vendor & Banking Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and financial institutions.
• HR Processes: Oversee HR paperwork and related processes to ensure smooth operations.
  
  

This is a hands-on role where you will lead the financial processes from start to finish and make a real impact on the organization’s growth.

Preferred Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who bring strong financial expertise and are ready to lead. While not required, the following qualifications would be highly valued:

• Industry Experience: Experience in nonprofit or education sectors, or a background in similar industries.
• Certifications: A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and/or CAE (Certified Association Executive) are highly desirable.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is required for this position.
• Experience: At least 5+ years of management level experience.
