Business Operations Manager (Home Decor)

The ideal candidate will have ability to create and maintain an efficient system of complete Business Operations for a rural women upliftment & livelihood initiative “Hamari Asha” a Home Decor brand dealing in a wide variety of product categories – Bags & Pouches, Jute Products, Candles, Table Linen and Terracotta Diwali Diya products. The candidate should be able to do multitasking. The ideal candidate will be with previous experience in home decor / retail industry. 

Responsibilities

Manage the daily functions of the initiative

• To coordinate product development, purchases, production, distribution and sales.
• To create production and sales plans category wise.
• To ensure stock of finished goods for all categories.
• To manage sales on various e-commerce platforms and coordinate customer orders and deliveries.
• To plan and participate in various exhibitions to increase sales.
• Creates and updates reports, as required, following the Industry standards.
• Executes effective and transparent communication internally and externally.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed

Desired Skills

• Operations, Merchandising, Purchase & Inventory Management, Commercial Acumen, Costing & Pricing Knowledge of Craft, Textile and Home Furnishing Categories.
• Should have knowledge and follow health, safety, environment and business ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate (an MBA is desirable)
• Min 7+ years of experience in a similar role in Retail, Apparel, Fashion or Home Furnishing industry
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong ability to multitask

• Approx CTC Rs. 6 to 8 Lacs Per Annum.
