VP, Business Operations

Description

The Vice President of Business Operations will work closely with the President to provide strategic leadership and operational support across key business functions. This role combines technical expertise with operational oversight to drive business performance and ensure the successful execution of critical initiatives. The VP will lead the development of business KPIs, executive dashboards, and decision support systems while overseeing integrations, investor relations, and managing key escalations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and refinement of company-wide KPIs that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards to provide real-time insights and actionable data for the executive team.
• Build and refine systems and tools that enable data-driven decision-making for the executive team.
• Contribute to the development of advanced analytics and reporting solutions.
• Act as a senior leader for key customer accounts, providing proactive support and resolving issues in collaboration with other executives.
• Ensure exceptional service and strengthen long-term relationships with strategic clients.
• Lead the operational planning and execution for integrating acquired businesses.
• Collaborate with the executive team to streamline and optimize business processes during the integration phase.
• Oversee and resolve executive-level escalations, ensuring efficient and prioritized resolution.
• Communicate effectively and ensure outcomes align with the company’s strategic goals.
• Serve as a key liaison between the executive team and investors, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Assist in crafting messaging, responding to inquiries, and supporting efforts to enhance shareholder value.
• Lead and coordinate key strategic initiatives to drive organizational goals and ensure successful execution.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure project delivery and report on progress.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior business operations role, ideally within a fast-paced or complex organization.
• Strong technical background with expertise in business analytics, decision support systems, and dashboard creation.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute operationally.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Experience managing business integrations and understanding operational challenges associated with scaling organizations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  
  

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in business operations, management consulting, or similar senior roles.
• Experience in technology or high-growth industries is highly desirable.
