This is a pivotal role for current and future business growth in a market leading Industrial Solutions Company. Working closely with internal / external stakeholders and business functions, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Application Developer to join our team.
The CPQ Application Developer will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and expertise to our customers and internal teams in the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of our CPQ software solutions. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of CPQ processes, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Business Requirements Gathering
Interface with FMS Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Line Managers
Capture and translate complex business requirements for CPQ configuration.
Understand product line needs and commercial strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as primary liaison between FMS business units and Enterprise Solutions (ES) CPQ team.
Translate business requirements into technical CPQ configuration specifications.
Facilitate communication between commercial, engineering, and IT teams.
CPQ and ERP Configuration
Work with ES CPQ team to setup product options and workflow configurations.
Ensure accurate product setup in both CPQ and JDE (ERP) systems.
Support new product introductions and existing product revisions.
Validate data structures and configurations across CPQ and JDE
System Integration and Data Management
Deep understanding of data structures in CPQ and JDE.
Ensure data consistency and accuracy across enterprise systems.
Support seamless integration between CPQ, ERP, and other business systems.
Technical Validation and Support
Collaborate with Engineering to verify technical accuracy of product configurations.
Validate that product specifications are correctly represented in CPQ.
Troubleshoot and resolve configuration discrepancies.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize CPQ and ERP product configurations.
Stay current with NOV business unit product strategies.
Recommend process improvements for product setup and configuration.
QualityEssentialQualifications:
BA (Hons) or Technical Degree or equivalent
Demonstrable experience in product configuration, ERPs, or CPQ implementation
Experience & Skills:
Strong background in manufacturing or technical product management
Experience with enterprise system integration
Understanding of data structures and system integrations
