Chief Financial Officer

We are currently supporting a dynamic, fast-growing ecommerce business at the forefront of omnichannel retail innovation. They are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial strategy and drive sustainable growth in a competitive market.

The Role:

As CFO, you will be a strategic partner to the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business. You will lead the commercial, corporate finance, and reporting functions, ensuring robust financial management and compliance. Your deep industry experience within an omnichannel retail environment will be essential as you guide our business through the complexities of scaling and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team to support business expansion and market positioning.
• Oversee capital structure, funding strategies, and investor relations.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes.
• Evaluate and drive initiatives to optimise revenue streams and cost structures.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit processes.
• Maintain robust financial systems and processes that support decision-making and accountability.
• Leverage your industry experience in ecommerce and omnichannel retail to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within an ecommerce or omnichannel retail environment.
• Strong background in commercial finance, corporate finance, and comprehensive financial reporting.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a track record of driving business growth.
• A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
