Chief Financial Officer

We are pleased to be partnering with an innovative biotech company to identify a Chief Financial Officer who will take on a key leadership role. This position will be instrumental in steering the company’s financial strategy, driving growth initiatives, and overseeing capital markets activities, with a strong focus on international expansion - particularly into the US market.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic European biotech company during a key phase of its development. In close collaboration with the CEO and executive team, the CFO will help define the financial strategy and contribute to the company’s global expansion plans.

Scope Includes:

• Leading the finance function and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Driving funding strategy (private financing/IPO readiness)
• Managing investor communications and relationships
• Ensuring financial compliance and operational excellence across EU an US
• Partnering on strategic initiatives, governance, and business planning
• Supervising audits, tax, and corporate controls
• Building scalable processes and systems to support growth

Profile:

• 5–7 years in a senior executive finance / CFO role
• Strong understanding of financial standards (IFRS, local GAAP, tax)
• Proven experience with fundraising and investor engagement
• Biotech or pharma sector background required
• Fluent in English and French, with strong command of financial tools
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with international exposure
