CorpsAfrica is a rapidly-growing nonprofit that places ambitious, young Africans in rural, high-poverty communities in their own countries to apply their education to projects identified by local community members that address key needs. (Think Peace Corps, for Africans, in Africa.)
This is an outstanding opportunity for a person with strong financial management skills in a global setting. CorpsAfrica has a budget of $18 million, a staff of about 160 (7 in Washington, DC; the rest in 10 countries in Africa), and 470 fulltime volunteers, who form the essence of the organization.
