Chief Financial Officer

MetroTech Automotive is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to direct and oversee all financial activities of the corporation. MetroTech Automotive is a firmly established company of 38 years based in Charlotte, NC. We are a manufacturer of car care products and a well renowned automotive partner of car dealerships nationwide.

Responsibilities & Duties (included but not limited to):

·        Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, and tax returns 

·        Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; make or oversee any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets 

·        Review planning process and suggest improvements to current methods 

·        Analyze operations to identify areas for maximum production 

·        Work directly with company President to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process 

·        Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas 

·        Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community 

·        Manage the relationships of our Legal, I/T and Insurance partnerships

·        Hire, train, and retain skilled accounting and finance staff 

·        Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations

Requirements & Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree required 

·        Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred 

·        10+ years’ experience in financial management capacity 

·        Automotive industry or insurance experience preferred 

·        Strong team player, results orientated, and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives 

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

·        Organizational and time management skills 

·        Ability to build relationships
