Sr Business Operations Manager

What's the role?

The Senior Business Operations Manager in Foundation Engineering (FE) plays a critical role in driving strategic planning, operational efficiency, financial management, general management, and communication management. This role ensures effective budget oversight, headcount optimization, cost control, and AWS cost optimization while aligning business objectives with broader organizational goals. The position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication capabilities to enhance operational performance, drive continuous improvement, and support seamless information flow across teams.

  • Budget & Cost Management – Oversee FE budget planning and execution, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business priorities. Manage AWS cost optimization strategies to improve financial sustainability.
  • Headcount & Efficiency Management – Analyze workforce data, assess resource allocation effectiveness, and drive initiatives with LT & XLT to enhance operational productivity.
  • Strategic Business Planning – Partner with the business planning team to refine resource alignment with organizational strategies, initiatives, and KPIs. Conduct post-implementation assessments to support long-term business growth.
  • Operational Excellence – Lead process improvements, cost analysis, and performance tracking to enhance efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Compliance – Coordinate across business units, ensure compliance with performance guidelines, and drive governance for sustained operational success, particularly in headcount and efficiency management.
  • General Management – Oversee cross-functional initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of business operations, resource planning, and performance management. Develop frameworks to enhance decision-making and process governance.
  • Communication Management – Develop and execute communication strategies to align internal and external stakeholders. Ensure clear and consistent messaging across leadership teams, business units, and cross-functional partners.

Who are you?

  • 10+ yearsof experience in business operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree required;MBA or master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong expertise inbudgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization (including AWS cost management).
  • Proven ability tolead cross-functional teams and drive efficiency improvements.
  • Exceptionalproblem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to collaborate acrosstechnical and business teams.
  • Experience inperformance tracking, process automation, and strategic planning.
  • Industry certifications such asLean Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile leadership (preferred).
  • Fluent in English withexcellent communication and negotiation skills

The expected base salary range for this position is $154,000 to $220,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience.

This position is also eligible for a target annual performance bonus, which is subject to company and individual performance.
