The Executive Director, Revenue Operations, located in Atlanta, GA, is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing an enterprise program to measure and track sales performance and its predicted financial outcomes, establishing and maintaining improved sales performance management through existing business leadership organizations, and establishing and facilitating ongoing routines engaging Finance and Sales Enablement. The position will interface with ELT, BU Sales Leadership, Finance, Sales Enablement, and Data Operations.

Job Functions

Revenue Forecasting & Sales Analysis

  • Provide regular sales and revenue forecasts
  • Track sales forecasts and pipeline planning, including partner opportunities
  • Lead weekly Sales and Operations metrics review and drive interim updates and accountability on outstanding action items

Go-to-Market Strategy & Processes

  • Analyze and develop market segmentation, territory mapping, and target account lists
  • Assist in the building and renewal expansion strategies
  • Build and enhance core go-to-market processes, creating strategies to optimize the sales funnel, reduce the sales cycle, and drive sustainable profitable revenue growth
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to establish targets and KPIs, then monitor progress to ensure targets are met or exceeded

Operational Processes & Efficiency

  • Work with applicable teams to design streamlined and automated processes
  • Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements that unlock productivity and accelerate revenue

Data-Driven Optimization

  • Develop and implement sales and opportunity strategies and drive continuous optimization in sales performance and productivity, helping Deluxe exceed its revenue targets
  • Perform data quality assurance for sales compensation, GTM analysis, and forecasting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to align revenue-related processes and initiatives within the CRM, drive adoption of Salesforce, and ensuring cohesive execution of strategy
  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve any discrepancies in go-to-market approaches
  • Provide key inputs for key sales strategy, territory structuring, process optimization, and compensation planning

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years or Master’s Degree and 8 years

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 years of management
  • 10+ years related systems and business experience
  • Deep understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle, CRM, reporting, forecasting, territory management, compensation planning, and sales quotas)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
  • Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with executive-level partners
