Business Operations Manager / Chief of Staff

We are partnering with a prominent footwear brand to hire a Business Operations Manager / Chief of Staff to join their small, NYC-based team. This role reports directly to the CEO and is an incredible opportunity for someone eager to take ownership of operations at a fast-growing consumer brand that customers love.

* MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE CONSUMER / CPG INDUSTRY *

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will wear multiple hats with core responsibilities including:

• Understand operations through a finance lens (you are familiar with optimizing COGS, product margin, contribution margin, etc)
• Inventory forecasting and management
• Supporting the CEO with investor materials
• Collaborating with vendors and external partners

What They’re Looking For:

• 4-8 years of full-time work experience with strong familiarity in consumer/CPG finance and operations (working with a physical good)
• Experience with financial planning and forecasting
• Ability to be a strategic thought partner on matters without a clear owner
• Strong communication skills—able to identify and escalate issues proactively while also working independently to resolve them
• Comfortable and understand working with a small 8-person team

Additional Details:

Location: In-office in NYC with strong flexibility to work from home as needed

Compensation: $75K-$100K base salary (depending on relevant experience) + equity + benefits
