We're seeking an experienced Estimator to lead the estimating team in assembling successful bids to build water and water treatment systems across the nation. Responsibilities include : Strategic Planning and Vision : Guide the strategic transformation of customer needs into innovative system designs, aligning with IWS's overarching vision and market demands. Leadership in Technical Excellence : Elevate technical review standards and mentor the estimation team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical proficiency. Collaborative Team Management : Seamlessly integrate efforts across departments, consultants, and clients, enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration and quality. Oversight of Project Lifecycle : Ensure diligent management of project documentation, schedules, budgets, and scopes, from inception to completion. Institutionalizing Best Practices : Champion the adoption of cutting-edge engineering solutions and best practices, keeping the team ahead in industry advancements. Requirements : The ideal candidate will have : A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, particularly in water and wastewater plant construction. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams, with experience in vendor, procurement, and subcontractor management. Skilled in performing quantity takeoffs, using print reading software, and comfortable with cost estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid preferred). Familiarity with construction financial aspects like estimates, bids, and change orders required.. Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, proficient in organizing and driving results, along with excellent presentation, negotiation skills, and a high degree of integrity and trust. The rate offered is compliant with federal / local regulations and may vary by experience, certification / education, market conditions, location, etc. We work to solve our customers’ water problems.
