Job Overview – Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

Step into a strategic executive role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with our client in Chester County, PA. This hybrid opportunity is perfect for an experienced financial leader with a strong background in hospitality and private equity. Lead financial planning, risk management, and reporting while applying your expertise in restaurant operations and advanced financial strategy. Drive financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and enhance overall organizational success.


Compensation: $230,000 - $240,000/year + bonus

Location: Chester County, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)


Responsibilities as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

  • Financial Leadership & Strategy: Oversee all financial functions, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management to ensure financial health.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Lead the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Executive Collaboration & Communication: Advise executive leadership, providing insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Risk Management & Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal control systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Private Equity & Investor Relations: Work with private equity partners to optimize strategies and ensure transparent communication.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and succession planning.


Qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 14 years in finance or accounting, including at least 6 years as a CFO in the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a proven background working with private equity.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Restaurant365 preferred, along with advanced knowledge of ERP systems, financial modeling, and GAAP compliance.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with executive presence to inspire teams, attention to detail, and a focus on accuracy and strategic insight.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of restaurant operations, private equity dynamics, and compliance requirements.
