The Opportunity:

This is a key leadership role within StackBuffer Technologies. As Chief Revenue Officer, you will join us at a critical stage, shaping and executing the revenue generation strategy for the entire company. This is a full-time, hands-on position based in Ahmedabad.

Compensation: Please note this role does not offer an initial salary. Your compensation will be based on a revenue-sharing model, directly linking your earnings to your success in driving sales and company growth, offering significant financial upside based on performance. Your success in establishing a robust revenue stream, especially for our AI initiatives, will be crucial for the company's strategic direction and continued investment in this area.


Role Description: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

As CRO, you will be the architect and executor of StackBuffer's sales and revenue generation efforts. You will be responsible for building our sales function from the ground up, with a strong emphasis on acquiring clients for both our established consulting services and our emerging AI solutions. You will work closely with the founding team on key strategic decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for technology consulting and AI solutions.
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline; actively generate leads through various channels.
  • Personally manage the full sales cycle for key clients, presenting solutions (with a focus on AI), negotiating contracts, and building relationships.
  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships, including those relevant to the AI ecosystem.
  • Analyze market trends (especially in AI) and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to align sales with service delivery and product development.
  • Develop revenue forecasts and report on key sales metrics.
  • Design and execute the go-to-market strategy for new AI service offerings.
  • Act as an evangelist for StackBuffer's capabilities, particularly in AI.


Qualifications:

  • Proven B2B technology sales track record (e.g., consulting, SaaS, IT services) with experience closing deals and meeting targets. Experience selling AI, data, or analytics solutions is a strong plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: A self-starter with strong ownership and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent business acumen and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts (including AI).
  • A relevant network within the technology industry is beneficial.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to sales.
  • Good understanding of AI concepts, business applications, and the market landscape is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
