About VJAITRA Air Mobility

VJAITRA Air Mobility is pioneering India’s first hydrogen-powered VTOL aircraft, setting new benchmarks in sustainable aviation. We are incubated at IIM Lucknow. With key partnerships in place, including LOIs for multi-million-dollar aircraft leasing and expansion into agricultural drones under the Drone Didi Scheme, we are on track for significant growth leading up to an IPO by late 2026.

We are looking for a Co-Founder & CFO with deep experience in advanced air mobility (AAM) from companies like Lilium, Joby Aviation, or Archer Aviation, who can drive financial strategy, fundraising, and global partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Fundraising

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure venture capital, private equity, and grants.

• Lead engagement with global investors, banks, and strategic partners to raise capital, including Series A/B funding rounds.

• Drive financial planning to support VTOL development, aircraft leasing, and market expansion.

• Manage LPGP fund structuring and investor relations for long-term scalability.

2. Financial Management & Compliance

• Oversee corporate finance, financial modeling, and budget planning for R&D, certification, and production.

• Ensure compliance with DGCA, EASA, FAA, and global aviation financial regulations.

• Manage risk assessment for hydrogen and electric VTOL aircraft commercialization.

• Lead financial due diligence for strategic partnerships, M&As, and joint ventures.

3. Global Business Expansion & IPO Readiness

• Develop revenue models for aircraft sales, leasing, and urban air mobility (UAM) services.

• Build financial structures for cross-border VTOL leasing, leveraging IFSC aviation policies.

• Prepare financial roadmaps for an IPO by late 2026 and ensure investor-ready financial reporting.

4. Stakeholder & Investor Relations

• Serve as the financial face of VJAITRA Air Mobility, building relationships with VCs, family offices, sovereign funds, and institutional investors.

• Align financial strategies with government policies, aviation incentives, and tax benefits.

• Support corporate governance, board reporting, and ESG compliance.

Who You Are

Required Experience

• 8+ years in finance leadership roles at Lilium, Joby Aviation, Archer Aviation, or similar AAM companies.

• Strong background in venture capital, aircraft leasing, or investment banking within aviation.

• Experience in structuring financial deals for aircraft programs, government incentives, or AAM projects.

• Expertise in financial modeling, IPO preparation, and regulatory finance for aviation.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record in securing $50M+ in funding from investors or aviation-focused funds.

• Deep understanding of aircraft leasing models, aviation tax structures, and AAM revenue streams.

• Strong network with VCs, PEs, aviation financiers, and government agencies.

• Passion for sustainable aviation, hydrogen, and VTOL technologies.
