Chief Financial Officer

Evo owns a few CPG brands focusing on high quality supplements. We’re currently operating in 3 markets and our team members are based out of Singapore, Malaysia & Hongkong. We have past experience working in big tech companies which includes Grab, Tiktok, Zalora, FoodPanda, Fave, Shopee, etc.

As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s financial operations and helping shape its future direction. You will work closely with the CEO and executive team to provide insights, strategic direction, and guidance on financial planning, risk management, and overall growth strategy. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, managing cash flow, and optimizing profitability while supporting our fast-paced model.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Development:

• Lead and oversee all corporate development activities, including potential fundraising, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and asset acquisitions or divestitures.
• Drive growth strategies through identifying, negotiating, and executing business deals and partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess strategic opportunities and create value-adding initiatives.
• Foster a strong pipeline of M&A and partnership opportunities to support long-term growth.

Financial Operations:

• Oversee the finance team and manage day-to-day financial operations across key regions (Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia).
• Lead efforts to build and scale finance teams and capabilities, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness as the company expands.
• Establish best practices, policies, and procedures to optimize financial performance and ensure robust internal controls.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Drive the financial planning process, including the expansion of the business into new geographic regions or categories.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO to allocate capital effectively and ensure strategic alignment with the company’s long-term goals.
• Provide actionable insights and financial projections to support critical decision-making and business growth.

Treasury:

• Oversee the company’s cash management strategy, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial flexibility.
• Manage banking relationships and collaborate with financial institutions to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
• Maintain strong cash forecasting practices to support financial planning and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (preferably within FMCG, DTC, or e-commerce).
• Strong understanding of the DTC business model, consumer behavior analytics, and financial KPIs related to e-commerce and direct-to-consumer sales.
• Proven track record of scaling financial operations in high-growth companies.
• Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and managing financial risks.
• In-depth knowledge of financial management software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to distill complex financial information for executive decision-making.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, or other strategic financial activities is a plus.
