Position Overview: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial operations across all divisions, including diamond manufacturing units, jewellery manufacturing facilities, and sales offices. This role requires expertise in precious commodity management, manufacturing cost control, and luxury retail financial operations. Key Responsibilities:

Diamond Manufacturing Division(Surat)

• Monitor and analyze production costs and yields across diamond manufacturing units

• Oversee inventory valuation of rough and polished diamonds

• Track manufacturing losses and optimize production efficiency metrics

• Manage working capital for rough diamond procurement

• Analyze cost per carat across different diamond categories

Jewelry Manufacturing Division(Mumbai and Surat)

• Control precious metal inventory and manage price fluctuation risks

• Oversee costing systems for jewelry manufacturing processes

• Monitor wastage and recovery of precious metals and stones

• Analyze production efficiency and labor cost metrics

• Manage WIP inventory across manufacturing stages

Sales & Distribution(Mumbai and New York)

• Review and approve customer rebate structures for different markets

• Analyze profitability by product category, customer segment, and location

• Monitor accounts receivable and credit terms for various markets

• Evaluate the performance of different sales offices and channels

• Analyze sales forecasts and inventory requirements

Financial Operations & Treasury

• Manage relationships with banks for inventory financing

• Oversee secured loans against diamond and jewellery stock

• Monitor and hedge against currency and commodity price fluctuations

• Ensure compliance with international banking regulations for precious commodity trading

• Manage cash flow across multiple international locations

Risk Management & Compliance

• Ensure proper insurance coverage for high-value inventory across locations

• Maintain compliance with international diamond trading regulations

• Oversee security protocols for valuable inventory movement

• Monitor and manage transfer pricing between different units

• Ensure adherence to responsible sourcing guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Professional certification (CPA, CFA, or equivalent)

• 15+ years of financial management experience

• 8+ years experience in luxury goods or manufacturing,

• Strong understanding of international trade and banking regulations

Industry-Specific Experience:

• Knowledge of diamond and jewellery industry dynamics

• Experience in commodity-based manufacturing operations

• Understanding of international precious stone and metal markets

• Familiarity with luxury retail financial operations

• Experience in managing high-value inventory financing

Skills & Competencies:
