Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at a mid-sized privately held manufacturing company based in Waukegan, IL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, particularly in turnaround situations and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
• Lead efforts to improve financial performance and ensure the company's financial health.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize working capital and manage cash flow.
• Implement costing systems for process manufacturing to enhance cost control and efficiency.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
• Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other senior executives to drive the company's growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in turnaround situations and working capital management.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
