Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO), specifically located in Schenectady, New York. This role is crucial to our team, as it involves overseeing the financial aspects of our numerous projects and entities, managing commercial leases, and ensuring compliance with lender covenants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of the organization's projects and entities
• Manage commercial leases and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with lender covenants and respond promptly to lender inquiries for financial information
• Oversee cash and debt management strategies to ensure financial stability
• Utilize Yardi software for various financial functions and processes
• Contribute to the optimization of financial processes and systems
• Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's financial status and provide updates as needed
• Assist in the transition from SAP to Yardi software system
• Manage the organization's finances with minimal supervision, demonstrating the ability to hit the ground running.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial leadership role
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems to manage financial data
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and HR needs
• Able to optimize and manage Business Systems for efficient operations
• Expertise in Accounting Functions, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll
• Skilled in Auditing processes to ensure financial compliance and accuracy
• Knowledgeable in Budget Processes, including planning, development, and implementation
• Experience in Capital Management, including allocation of financial resources
• Ability to conduct Cash Flow Analysis for financial forecasting and planning
• Proficiency in Yardi software for property management and accounting needs
• Experience in Commercial Property Management, including budgeting, leasing, and operations
• Must be proficient in SAP software for business process management
• Skilled in Commercial Finance, including financial analysis, planning, and risk assessment
• Experience in managing Finance Administration tasks such as budget control and financial reporting
• Ability to lead Finance Transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and performance
• Proficiency in general Finance principles and practices
• Knowledge of Corporate Finance, including financial management, investment decisions, and financial risk management.
