We are an Australian-born fintech on a mission to redefine payments and managing finances for consumers and businesses, while powering financial institutions with cutting-edge banking-as-a-service technology. We hold an AFSL in Australia plus other financial services licenses in key jurisdictions globally and are actively preparing to apply for additional licenses from prudential regulators as an essential step in our evolution. To drive the next phase of growth, we’re seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer to oversee Bolt’s financial strategy, planning, and operations across Australia and New Zealand. This role will be crucial in steering Bolt’s financial future while supporting our innovative, fast-paced, and high-growth environment.
What You’ll Do
Own and drive the financial strategy for Bolt, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and growth ambitions.
Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance to deliver on key financial objectives. 💼
Oversee financial planning, reporting, and forecasting, ensuring that financial data and insights inform strategic decision-making at every level. 📊
Partner with the leadership team to support Bolt’s strategic initiatives, advising on financial risks and opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
Manage Bolt’s capital structure, including fundraising, debt management, and investment strategies, positioning Bolt for long-term financial success.
Ensure financial compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and governance structures, working closely with regulators and auditors as necessary.
Enhance financial systems, processes, and controls to scale with Bolt’s growth, ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
Provide timely and insightful financial reports to the board, investors, and other stakeholders, offering actionable insights into performance and financial health.
Develop financial models to assess new product launches, market expansions, and potential mergers and acquisitions, driving Bolt’s innovation pipeline.
Act as Bolt’s key liaison for investor relations, fostering strong relationships with current and potential investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.
Please note, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the day-to-day work, not just overseeing it.

Deep expertise in financial strategy, planning, analysis, and operations, with experience in managing capital structure and raising capital.
