Chief Financial Officer

Trinity House Group is delighted to be partnering with a growing and ambitious multi-academy trust who is seeking a Chief Finance Officer to lead its financial strategy and operations at executive level.

This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to shape the trust’s financial future and support its continued development.

The Role

As CFO, you’ll oversee all financial planning, reporting and compliance, acting as the statutory finance lead and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. You’ll guide decision-making through robust financial insight, ensure compliance with the Academies Financial Handbook, and lead a high-performing finance team.

While experience in the education sector is welcomed, it’s not essential – we're open to applicants with transferable expertise from other industries. Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning and reporting across the trust
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory guidance
• Manage budgets, audits, investments and regulatory submissions
• Oversee finance systems, processes and controls
• Contribute to strategic planning at trust level
• Line manage and develop the finance team
• Support due diligence for potential new schools
