Chief Financial Officer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships at a Privately held $200M Commercial Construction business. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in WIP Accounting and working with Project Managers on the status of jobs to create accurate forecasts. This role will also need to have M&A finance and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Work hand in hand with the Leadership Team and Project Managers to understand and present financial data and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
• Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Manage relationships with banks
• Manage a team in Finance and Accounting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' of finance and accounting experience in construction industry
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Must have strong experience working with Project Managers on WIP
• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting required
• Strong track record of success in construction companies with $150M-$500M Revenues or a division of a larger company handling revenues of similar scope and scale
• Should have M&A experience
• Will need to be onsite at least 3 days a week in San Francisco
• Prefer a role-up the sleeves and dig in type of style who likes a collaborative work environment.
