We are currently representing a management company, which is a dynamic and growing organization that oversees 10 entities in the healthcare space. The company has scaled quickly and ownership is now focused on professionalizing the Finance organization and ensuring the proper protocols and procedures are in place.


About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and elevate our Finance organization. In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust financial infrastructure to support a $40M+ multi-entity healthcare organization. You will be instrumental in developing financial strategies, guiding executive reporting, and implementing risk management practices to ensure financial stability and growth.


As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will foster a transparent and collaborative culture, building strong financial leadership and guiding the evolution of our finance function. This role requires the ability to manage change proactively while leveraging financial insights to support strategic decision-making and navigate the complexities of managing multiple healthcare entities. You will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational objectives, emphasizing sustainable growth and long-term success.

Location

  • Atlanta, GA


Compensation

  • Base salary: $220,000
  • Bonus: Up to $22,000 (10% of base salary)


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the application of appropriate accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting on an accrual and cash basis
  • Establish and maintain robust financial infrastructure, including internal controls, reporting systems, and financial policies tailored to a $40M+ organization with 10+ separate entities.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead executive-level financial reporting, providing accurate and timely insights to support decision-making.
  • Oversee financial risk management and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, setting clear expectations and performance standards.
  • Drive strategic planning and budgeting processes to support sustainable growth.
  • Implement and optimize financial systems, leveraging technology to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain transparent communication and professional oversight within the evolving finance function.
  • Develop internal control policies and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including GAAP, UFR, and other applicable standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, preferably within multi-entity healthcare organizations.
  • Proven track record of establishing financial infrastructure and leading strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing finance and accounting teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a transparent approach to organizational change.
  • Deep attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvements and manage financial technologies for enhanced accuracy and efficiency with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experience with healthcare financial management, including compliance with healthcare-specific regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
