Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, including tracking cash flow, financial planning, and analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team.
Manage the processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation, and reporting to the company.
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team.
Manage the company's financial planning and analysis, including cash flow management.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Oversee the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions.
Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements.
Collaborate with the Chief Information Officer on technology decisions.
Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 5 years in a management role.
Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
Experience with SEC reporting and public accounting.
Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Ability to work well with the CEO, board members, and other senior executives.
