TechnePlus is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPQ Developer/Technical Consultant with a strong background in Oracle CPQ Cloud (Bigmachines) to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a key member of our consulting practice, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions for our clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of CPQ functionalities and integration capabilities to deliver robust and scalable solutions that meet complex business :
Project Implementation & Delivery : Act as a key technical team member in 2 or more successful software project implementations focused on Oracle CPQ Cloud (Bigmachines), contributing significantly to the technical aspects of the project lifecycle.
Hands-on Technical Development : Independently perform technical hands-on development activities related to various Oracle CPQ Cloud modules, including :
- Configuration : Developing and maintaining configuration rules, product structures, and option constraints.
- Commerce : Designing and implementing pricing rules, discounts, promotions, and quote calculations using BML (BigMachines Markup Language).
- Document Designer : Creating and customizing quote and proposal templates using the Document Designer.
- Workflow Approvals : Designing and implementing approval workflows to manage the quote approval process.
- Email Templates : Developing and customizing email templates for various CPQ notifications and communications.
- Steps : Designing and implementing custom steps within the Commerce process to extend functionality.
- BML (BigMachines Markup Language) : Writing and debugging complex BML scripts for various CPQ functionalities.
- Commerce and Configuration Layout Design : Designing and customizing the user interface for the Commerce and Configuration modules.
CPQ Administrative Activities : Proficiently perform hands-on CPQ administrative activities, including :
- Environment Setup : Setting up and configuring new CPQ environments.
- Data Table Management : Creating, managing, and maintaining data tables within CPQ.
- File Manager : Uploading, managing, and organizing files within the CPQ File Manager.
- User and Group Management : Creating and managing user accounts and group permissions within CPQ.
- Parts Creation : Creating and managing product and service parts within the CPQ catalog.
- Code Migration : Performing code migration activities between different CPQ environments.
- Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) : Applying and customizing Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) to enhance the look and feel of the CPQ interface.
Independent Development and Technical Design : Demonstrate a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to perform hands-on development tasks, create functional prototypes and proof-of-concepts, and contribute to technical design documentation for scalable solutions in support of current and new Oracle CPQ Cloud projects.
Integration with Third-Party Systems : Design, develop, and implement integrations between Oracle CPQ Cloud and various third-party systems using SOAP and REST APIs. This includes understanding integration requirements, mapping data, and troubleshooting integration issues.
Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis : Possess expertise in troubleshooting and debugging issues within the Oracle CPQ Cloud environment. Ability to systematically identify and document the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for technical problems.
Oracle Service Request Management : Experience in raising technical service requests with Oracle Support, effectively communicating the issue, and proactively following up to ensure timely resolution and closure.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a team member of 2 or more successful software project implementations related to Oracle CPQ Cloud (Bigmachines).
- Must have technical hands-on development activities related to Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, Steps, BML, Commerce and Configuration Layout Design.
- Must have hands-on with CPQ Administrative activities like Environment Setup, Data Table Management, File Manager, User and Group Management, Parts creation, Code Migration, Cascading Stylesheets (CSS).
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member to perform hands-on development tasks, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, technical design on a scalable solution as required in support of current and new Oracle CPQ (Bigmachines) Cloud projects.
- Experience with integrating CPQ to third party systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
- Expertise in troubleshooting/debugging issues and identifying/documenting the Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Experience in raising technical service requests with Oracle and taking the issue to closure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Desired Skills
- Experience with using CPQ exposed SOAP and REST APIs for custom integrations.
- End-to-end hands-on experience on integrating CPQ with Salesforce.com (using legacy/lightning adaptor), Oracle Sales Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Technical hands-on experience on setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) with CPQ.
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery for enhancing CPQ functionality and user interface.
- Technical hands-on experience on BOM (Bill of Materials) Mapping and Asset Based Ordering (ABO) within Oracle CPQ Cloud.
- Familiarity with CPQ scripting and advanced BML techniques.
- Experience with data migration and data loading tools for Oracle CPQ Cloud.
- Understanding of Oracle CPQ Cloud architecture and infrastructure.
