Job Responsibility:
The CFO is responsible for overseeing the global financial management of SG Group based in Singapore, ensuring financial health, regulatory & tax compliance, and strategic growth. This role involves managing global financial operations, accounting & reporting, optimizing cash flow, and providing leadership in investment and M&A decisions. Additionally, the CFO will work closely with senior management to align financial strategy with business objectives and support the company’s long-term expansion plans.

Provide financial leadership across SG Group, ensuring robust financial strategy and governance.
Oversee and mentor finance teams across multiple entities, driving efficiency and compliance.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and risk management to support business growth.
Financial Management & Intercompany Transactions
Manage intercompany transactions across multiple entities, ensuring proper reconciliations and compliance.
Optimize cash flow management, fund allocations, and financial reporting across subsidiaries.
Implement internal controls and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
Corporate Structuring & Compliance
Ensure proper capital structuring, dividend distributions, and funding allocations for subsidiaries.
Lead tax planning and regulatory compliance for all jurisdictions in which SG Group operates.
Investment & M&A Advisory
Provide financial guidance on investment opportunities, M&A transactions, and capital expenditure decisions.
Develop funding strategies, including debt vs. equity considerations, for business expansion.
Core Accounting & Reporting
Ensure accurate bookkeeping, invoice management, capital expenditure tracking, and timely financial filings.
Lead the preparation of management reports, financial forecasts, and statutory filings.
Establish SOPs for financial operations, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
Governance & Risk Management
Implement strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Ensure timely audit completion, tax filings, and compliance with financial regulations.
Proactively identify financial risks and advise management on mitigation strategies.
Educational/Skills Qualifications
CA or CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
6-8 years of experience in financial leadership(team Lead & Above) roles, preferably in maritime, logistics, or multi-national corporate structures.
