Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our clients executive team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Heavy Civil construction finance and a proven track record of driving financial success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the executive team and stakeholders.
Manage and monitor the company's financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial partners.
Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring the company meets all regulatory requirements.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to drive business growth and profitability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of construction finance and financial regulations.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
