SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Financial Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a consumer services business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale.

  • Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial and business plans, providing analysis, insights, and specific guidance to the Board of Directors.
  • Oversee the evaluation and due diligence process for potential acquisition targets, including financial and operational analysis, interrogation of assets and liabilities, financial modeling, and recommendations and reporting to the Board of Directors.


THE SPONSOR: This private equity firm has a solid history of helping scale businesses organically and via acquisition. They specialize in the services and manufacturing industry, with multiple portfolio companies in each vertical.


CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

  • Business Model: Services
  • Functional: Top financial leader of a $100mm-$200mm services company OR number two financial leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $250mm-$1B in revenue
  • Orientation: A mix of accounting and FP&A experience is preferred.
  • Private Equity: Private Equity experience is preferred.
  • M&A: M&A experience is preferred
  • Tenure: 15+ years of progressive career success
