Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, this senior leadership role involves managing, leading, and developing a high-performing Finance, Risk and Procurement team while ensuring financial controls and staff engagement. Responsibilities include overseeing the business plan, budget, team resources, and stakeholder relationships. The role supports financial sustainability by leading the annual budget preparation and forecasts, delivering accurate monthly financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements. Additionally, it entails managing financial audits, internal controls, and risk management frameworks, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring compliant procurement processes. The role also includes fostering a positive, inclusive work environment, ensuring safety and compliance with WH&S policies, and implementing effective governance processes.
To be considered for this role, you will be an established finance leader with CA/CPA qualifications. You have extensive experience leading teams to develop and deliver an end-to-end finance function with advanced analytics and business outcomes. You bring excellent written and verbal communication, particularly in presenting financial information to leadership teams, and expertise in business intelligence and performance reporting. You are a proven finance business partner with experience in advising senior leaders on strategic financial matters. You are a hands-on leader, who has managed the end to end finance function in a leadership capacity and a solid understanding of ERP systems. You have drive and initiative to achieve excellence. And your character and cultural alignment are just as important as your skills and experiences.
