About Us:

Cooper Street Snacks is a fast-growing, family-owned business dedicated to providing delicious, better-for-you snacks. As we expand our distribution and customer base, we are looking for a Senior Manager of Sales Operations to serve as the key liaison between sales and all other internal functions. This is a critical role that will enhance sales efficiency, improve internal communication, and support the seamless execution of company goals.


Position Overview:

The Senior Manager of Sales Operations will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between sales, marketing, finance, operations, and R&D. By improving the sales team’s ability to sell and communicate while ensuring internal teams have insight into customer needs, this position will help drive operational efficiency, enhance strategic planning, and contribute to overall business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Category Leadership

  • Serve as the Category Leadership Lead, identifying insights and trends to guide sales strategies.
  • Lead forecasting for total U.S. sales, ensuring accuracy in projections and demand planning.
  • Develop and manage sales tools, including presentations and marketing materials, to support customer meetings.
  • Serve as a key leader in the implementation of enterprise strategy & software

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison between field sales, marketing, finance, and operations, ensuring alignment and visibility.
  • Enhance company-wide awareness of key customer activities, enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Work closely with R&D for new product development, overseeing execution at retail, UPC management, product specs, sell sheets, and new item launch details.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with company leadership to set objectives and priorities for joint business plans with key customers and track progress.
  • Use data and insights to identify opportunities and prioritize categories, segments, and products in collaboration with the Brand team.
  • Develop and execute initiatives that promote new products and drive innovation adoption across the customer portfolio.

Operational Efficiency & Support

  • Improve operational efficiency by providing production teams with insights into what to produce and when.
  • Support finance through enhanced spend and promotional visibility, ensuring better budget management.
  • Strengthen marketing execution by aligning campaign activities with field sales initiatives.
  • Develop tools and resources to empower both internal and external sales teams to succeed.



Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in CPG sales, internal sales management, product management, brand management, or logistics/supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management & trade dynamics.
  • Exceptional ability to influence and build credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other enterprise software a strong plus
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong collaborator in a matrixed environment, working cross-functionally toward common objectives.
  • Highly organized, with a keen ability to prioritize and remove obstacles to achieve key goals.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in interpreting quantitative data and conducting trend analyses.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships and lead through influence.
  • Strategic thinker, capable of anticipating future impacts and assessing issues from multiple perspectives.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for business meetings, site visits, and customer collaborations.
