Job Description
Your Career
Palo Alto Networks is scaling its business strategy organization and looking for its next senior leader. Your work as a Strategy Lead will directly and visibly contribute to our overall strategy and success in EMEA and globally. You will work as part of a case team and work directly with the senior leaders in the organization to solve complex strategy problems that are on top-of-mind for our executives.
Your Impact
- Structure and break down complex business problems, develop a hypothesis, drive analysis, and deliver recommendations
- Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, pressure test your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution, and unlock value
- Develop and present high-quality recommendations and deliverables (GSlide, GSheet, PPT, Word, etc.) for executive-level consumption
- Support strategy/business planning processes and assist with developing strategic capabilities across the organization
- Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management, and execution) to do what it takes to “move the needle”
- Provide coaching and mentoring to other team members, both on the team and in the teams of our key stakeholders, and take personal interest in their growth in the organization
Qualifications
Your Experience
- 3+ years relevant work experience post MBA with at least 2 years in management consulting (Bain, McKinsey BCG, etc.), private equity, or top-tier tech strategy or “bizops” functions (Google, Meta, Amazon, etc)
- MBA graduate from a top-tier B-school or similar academic credentials, or “direct promote” in Consulting or equivalent military experience required
- Effective verbal and written communication ability and comfort with both business and technical discussions with senior audiences
- Experience in building relationships and leading through influence
- Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations
- Great teammate, willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision
- Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry is strongly preferred; knowledge of the cybersecurity industry is a plus, but not required
