Scope Of Position

The Sales Operations Associate will be responsible for retailer setups' administrative and support functions to streamline sales and order processing. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support revenue growth and optimize efficiencies. The Sales Operations Team, sitting within the Operations Department, is responsible for all work from retailer or item setup through order receipt.


Job Responsibilities:


New Customer Setup

  • Take the lead on coordinating operations for new retailers/customers
  • Review vendor and shipping guides to create internal operating guidelines to share with various departments, including Account Operations, Finance, and external third-party partners. Manage communication of updates to all teams when required.
  • Take initial orders through an intensive care period with Account Operations to ensure proper process and handling.


New Item Setup at Retail Customers

  • Compile new item information and upload it to retailer portals or setup forms.
  • Complete dotcom item setups for all major retailers, including Amazon.
  • Coordinate the proper upload of required testing documents to respective retailer portals.
  • Manage the EDI cross reference to ensure smooth handling of orders


Item Maintenance

  • Maintain our item database in Netsuite (ERP) to ensure the accuracy of item information – dimensions, testing, packaging, etc.
  • Upload new items to Netsuite (ERP) on launch with the Product Development Team.


Dropship Order Management

  • Manage the inventory feed flowing to multiple dropship accounts to maximize sales and prevent order cancellations.


Competency/Skill Needed

  • 1-2+ years experience in administrative Sales Operations or Sales Support function. Preferably at a retailer or company selling to major retailers
  • Strong attention to detail, process-driven.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience using retailer portals – Amazon Vendor Central & Seller Central, Walmart Retail Link, Target Partners Online, Kohls KLink
  • Experience using professional ERP systems (Netsuite is a plus)
