ewWe are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and strategic fiscal planning for our clients large-scale construction firm. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for driving financial efficiency, managing risk, and aligning our financial strategy with organizational growth goals. This role requires prior experience in construction or manufacturing accounting, with a strong grasp of Percentage of Completion accounting, Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, and GAAP complianc

iesLead all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk manageme
nt.Develop financial strategies to support corporate goals and long-term planning initiativ
es.Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and regulatory complian
ce.Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team to drive performance, collaboration, and best practic
es.Ensure proper accounting under Percentage of Completion methodology for ongoing construction projec
ts.Lead Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedule reviews and provide detailed job cost analys
is.Collaborate with project management, operations, and business development teams to evaluate project profitability and operational efficien
cy.Maintain banking relationships and oversee cash flow, investments, and capital manageme
nt.Conduct internal audits and support external financial audi
ts.Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requiremen
ts.Provide financial due diligence and analysis for strategic initiatives, joint ventures, and acquisitio
ns.Travel intermittently to Florida to support regional offices and project tea

Qualifications & Experi

enceBachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferr
ed).Minimum 10+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally as a Controller or
CFO.Direct experience within the construction or manufacturing industries is requi
red.Strong working knowledge of Percentage of Completion accounting and WIP report
ing.Deep understanding of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial regulati
ons.Proven leadership in managing accounting teams and implementing financial contr
ols.Experience with ERP systems and construction accounting platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage, or simil
ar).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication ski
lls.Ability and willingness to travel to Florida on a periodic ba

sis.
