Job Description
An opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment supporting our Sales organization. You'll partner with multiple internal groups including Sales, Finance, Legal, Product Management and Field Sales Operations to support deals and help drive the expansion of the Global Deal Desk team and processes.

Responsibilities
Advise the sales team/ management on deal strategy and structure
Respond to inquiries, provide guidance for quote and contract processes, assisting with the structure of deals, and advising on standard quote terms structure.
Collect data and information to further standardize the deal formation process. Identify opportunities to automate elements of the deal desk
Identify repeat questions or gaps from the field team and facilitate training sessions for Reps and Sales Managers
Engage cross-functional leaders in the development and socialization of new pricing and product configuration strategies, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Services and Finance, collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful implementation
Identify and recommend policy and process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of deal structure, exception processes and ultimately decrease deal cycle time
Work with finance and order management to help move orders to closure and mitigate issues for deals that are stuck in order management
Qualifications
Experience in deal support, sales operations, or sales (preferably in a high-tech industry)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management , Finance or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience improvising and problem solving on calls and in person
Strong Understanding of the sales processes and methodologies
Demonstrated experience with collaboration between finance, accounting, legal, sales operations and sales to drive projects or best practice/ improvements
Experience with Salesforce.com, CPQ tools , MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment that requires strategic thinking, resourcefulness, results-oriented decision making and commitment to excellence
Federal and/or SLED Operations experience is a plus, but not essential.
