The Sales Operations Manager's role is to lead and execute all operational aspects of the sales function at La Sportiva, N.A, Inc., including ,but not limited to: inventory planning and allocation, sales revenue forecasting and goal creation, sales analytics and reporting , and sales program(s) management. This individual will exude a passion for details , analytics and service and can make things happen with professionalism and discretion.
The Applicant must be highly organized, motivated and able to lead teams through operational changes. This candidate will have the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time while maintaining a high attention to detail. Someone with a positive and energetic attitude that collaborates well with others and enjoys creative problem solving. This applicant should have prior experience with systems , operations . wholesale and direct to consumer sales strategies as well as knowledge of the outdoor market and a passion for the activities that La Sportiva represents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product procurement process , matching growth with inventory needs by channel.
- Work to evolve our inventory allocation processes
- Sales Team analytics support - daily, monthly, seasonally, annually.
- Work with the team to develop and maintain sales revenue goals and territory specific goals.
- Support the Dealer Service Team focusing on product allocation and backorder management.
- Key Account business analytics and presentation support
- Support seasonal selling efforts, maintaining terms and developing sales programs
- Become an Expert User ( NetSuite, QLIK, SPS Analytics , NuOrder)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or relevant relevant field desired.
- 7+ years experience in the outdoor industry ( preferred) or related field.
- Passion and proven history of detail process management.
- Aptitude for process and systems - (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, NetSuite (or other ERP) , and WQlik ( or other BI tools)
- Significant exposure ri forecasting and budgeting
- Strong written, and verbal communication skills, with accurate grammar and spelling
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of and experience with Climbing, Mountaineering, Running footwear, apparel, andor ski hardgoods products.
Employment Benefits:
This is a full-time, exempt position with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8:00AM-5:00PM and Friday 8:00AM-1:00PM. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes, but not limited to the following:

Starting Salary:
$70,000 + Depending on qualifications and experience, with a potential for a bonus
Job Location:
Boulder, Colorado. La Sportiva will not reimburse for relocation.
